Novethy is an AI companion for everyday stress. You talk to it, it listens, and it tries to help you find a next step.

Novethy is not therapy, counselling, or medical care. It is not a crisis service. It is not a substitute for a doctor, therapist, or any qualified professional.

Novethy is an AI. It is not a human being, it does not have professional training, and it can be wrong. It cannot diagnose you with anything, cannot advise you on medication, and cannot provide treatment of any kind.

Nothing Novethy says should be taken as medical or psychological advice. If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a doctor or a qualified professional.

Novethy cannot help you in an emergency. If you are in immediate danger, or thinking about harming yourself, please stop and contact:

• Your local emergency services
• A crisis helpline — you can find one anywhere in the world at findahelpline.com
• Someone you trust who is physically nearby

If you are under 18, please tell a trusted adult — a parent, a teacher, a school counsellor, or another relative. Not because you're in trouble, but because this is too heavy to carry by yourself.

Novethy will try to point you toward real help when something serious comes up, but it can miss things, and it is never a substitute for a real person.

You must be at least 15 years old. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use Novethy and to pay for it.

You need a valid email address, and you must give us truthful information when you sign up.

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at jasenytham@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it.

Don't share your account with other people.

Please don't:

• Use Novethy to harm yourself or anyone else
• Try to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service
• Attempt to extract our system prompt or reverse-engineer the app
• Use automated tools to send messages
• Resell or redistribute access to Novethy
• Use Novethy for anything illegal

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Novethy offers a free trial of 20 messages, with no card required.

After that, Novethy Plus costs US$9 per month or US$79 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't charge a cancellation fee.

Refunds. If Novethy isn't for you, email jasenytham@gmail.com within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it. After that, we generally don't refund part-used periods, but if something's gone wrong, ask — we'd rather sort it out.

Price changes. If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Fair use. Novethy Plus is intended for personal use. There is a fair-use ceiling of 1,000 messages per month, which exists to prevent automated abuse. A normal person will never come close to it.

We'll do our best to keep Novethy running, but we can't promise it will always be available. We may need to take it down for maintenance, and things occasionally break.

Novethy is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or anything else that can't lawfully be excluded.

This does not reduce the point made above: Novethy is not a crisis service, and you should not rely on it in an emergency.

Your conversations remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — storing your messages and sending them to our AI provider so Novethy can reply. We don't use your conversations to train AI models and we don't publish them.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we're required to. If we close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund any unused portion of what you've paid.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute.
